Academic Career

Starting his career as a Persian teacher at N.J.V. Government School in 1960 he taught Political Science at Central Government College Karachi for over 4 years before joining Pakistan Taxation Service in December 1965 and retired as Secretary to Government of Pakistan on 23rd February 2002. He served another year at the same post on contract. Federal Tax Ombudsman picked him as his Advisor on completion of Contract where from he voluntarily bowed out on 15th January 2005.
